The story of Naturarena Hohe Warte: Hohe Warte today

Blue and yellow living room

At the end of the 1990s, the “Döblinger Kojoten”, which are still active today, formed from a small group. Influenced by music and alternative culture, they created a humorous and sometimes subversive fan support that shaped the blue and yellow fan culture. Towards the end of the 2000s, new fan groups formed. The "Vienna Wanderers" in particular proved high creative potential with their elaborate choreographies, which represented an absolute novelty on the Hohe Warte. In addition to the blue and yellow fan clubs, many individuals were and are still involved in the blue and yellow fan scene. This is how the heterogeneous mix of fans characteristic of Vienna developed, which the term “Vienna Family” aptly describes. Cooperation and tolerance are the determining factors. With the founding of the blue and yellow fan association "First Vienna Football Club 1894 Supporters" and the installation of a fan advisory board in the mid-2010s, opportunities for fans to have a say in decisions were institutionalised.
