With the virtual home game, the First Vienna Football Supporters 1894, the umbrella organization of all blue and yellow fan groups, launched a one-off relief effort in the Corona crisis
Vienna is different. This is the motto of Austria's oldest football club. The iconic Hohe Warte stadium is characterized by a particularly lively, colorful and creative fan culture. Every week, fans of the cult club from Döbling prove their special nature. The team is cheered with verve and wink and the opposing team is treated with respect. Now, in the Corona crisis, the blue and yellow fan community has once again launched an extraordinary, solidarity-based initiative.
Under the slogan "Zimmer Küche Kabinett – mehr hamma ned” (Room, kitchen, tiny room - that’s all we have at the moment”, the supporters present the "Virtual Home Game" and various projects to be supported on their website. The club has made the infrastructure available for this initiative. On the one hand, it is about “opportunities to support our club financially” and “vital donations so that our fan block can continue to shine in the future.” And mainly it is about creating opportunities “to support people who have got into a tense or even a dramatic situation without it being their fault.”
It is important for our supporters to “master probably the greatest challenge for society as a whole in recent decades.” Crises and financially tense situations are not new to First Vienna Football Club 1894. "As is so often the case in such tense times, it is important to emphasize the call to stand together and support our club."

The umbrella organization of the "First Vienna Football Club 1894 Supporters" was launched in 2014. The aim was to bring the Vienna family closer together in the at that times of financial crisis and to bundle the creative potential in the fan communtiy to overcome the tough times. Although the fans are characterized by diversity, plurality, authenticity and originality. Everyone in the orginisation agrees on one point: homo-homophobic, racist, sexist or derogatory statements have no place at the Hohe Warte stadium. This is non-negotiable and an important part of the clubs DNA.
