Two new signings - squad continues to take shape
First Vienna FC 1894 is pushing ahead with the squad planning for the new season. Today we were able to confirm two more signings. Stefan Baldia (SG Stripfing / Angern) and Thomas Kreuzhuber (ASK Ebreichsdorf) will strengthen the blue-yellow team in the coming season.
Thomas Kreuzhuber moves from ASK Ebreichsdorf to Döbling. The 26-year-old can already look back on a lot of regional league experience and will strengthen Vienna in central defense.
With Stefan Baldia another 'Regionalliga Ost' player and old acquaintance changes to the Hohe Warte. The right-back already went through the Vienna youth team and made it from there into the first team. After a loan to 'Mauerwerk' and the intermediate station Stripfing, the 22-year-old returns to Vienna.
Markus Katzer about the new signings:
“With the signing of Thomas Kreuzhuber and Stefan Baldia, we were able to sign two players with 'Regionalliga Ost' experience. With the two, we ensure that the quality in our squad continues to improve. We are happy to welcome both of them to our team. ”
Kevin Krisch will leave the club
Kevin Krisch will no longer be available for Vienna in the coming season. The 28-year-old's contract was not renewed.
Kevin moved to Vienna FC in summer 2013 and won the Regionalliga Ost and the 2nd Landesliga with the club.
We would like to thank Kevin for his commitment and merit for First Vienna FC 1894 and wish him all the best for the future and on his way forward.
