Vienna travels to Gleisdorf for postponed match
On Tuesday, April 29, the previously postponed match between First Vienna FC and SK Sturm Graz II will be rescheduled. The match will take place at the Solarstadion in Gleisdorf, with kick-off at 18:00 CET. The game will be broadcast live on Laola1.
Vienna in strong form
Vienna heads to Styria with a lot of momentum. Since their home win against SW Bregenz, the team has also won their following two matches: At home, the Blue and Yellows defeated SV Lafnitz, and away they secured a solid 2-0 victory over newly-promoted Voitsberg.
Against Voitsberg, head coach Stefan Manzana Marin also celebrated a successful debut with a win in the previous round. On Tuesday, Vienna will face another tough opponent in Sturm II.
Even record against Sturm II
The previous encounters between Vienna and Sturm II have been very balanced since their promotion: Two wins, two draws, and one loss. The only defeat so far was suffered by Vienna in the first leg at the Hohe Warte, when despite being a player down and a late comeback attempt, they lost 2-4.
Sturm II solid in mid-table
Sturm II has also had a stable season. With 35 points, the second team from Graz is comfortably mid-table. The gap to Vienna is currently twelve points. In the previous round, the Styrians secured an away victory against promotion contender Admira, keeping the promotion race interesting.
The rescheduled match promises to be an exciting encounter between two teams in strong form.
The match will be broadcast live on Laola1.
