Vienna Secures Two Young Talents: Alozie and Stogiannidis Extend Until 2026
First Vienna FC has extended the contracts of Niklas Alozie and Aris Stogiannidis, tying both young players to Austria’s oldest football club beyond the current season. The two prospects have signed deals until summer 2026, with an option for an additional year. While Alozie has already made appearances in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga, Stogiannidis receives his first professional contract in Vienna-Döbling.
Left-back Niklas Alozie (22) joined Vienna in the summer of 2024 from FavAC. After an early-season injury, the Lower Austria native worked his way back into the first team via the amateur squad and made his 2. Liga debut in December against Liefering. He went on to make five appearances in the second half of the season, proving his ability to compete at a higher level.
Alozie began his football journey at 1. FC Union Stein, before moving through the youth ranks of Austria Wien and the Burgenland Academy. He gained his first senior experience at ASK Neutal, then continued his path through FavAC before arriving at Vienna.
Aris Stogiannidis also joined the club in summer 2024, arriving from league rivals FAC. The central midfielder made his debut for the blue and yellows on August 16, 2024, in the Wiener Stadtliga against SV Wienerberg. With strong performances, the 21-year-old quickly became a regular in the amateur team and earned attention from the first-team coaching staff. As a reward for his development, he now receives his first professional contract.
Stogiannidis gained experience at several youth clubs across Vienna, including Marianum, Post SV, Wiener Sportclub, and FAC, before taking the next step in his career at Vienna.
Sporting Director Andreas Ivanschitz expressed his delight with the extensions: “We’re proud to have secured Niklas and Aris—two promising young players—for the long term. Both have made significant progress this season and shown that they have the potential to establish themselves in professional football. Our goal is to develop young players in a focused way and offer them a clear path within our club. I’m confident that with hard work, ambition, and patience, they’ll continue to grow and take the next steps in their careers.”
