Vincent Zeidler Signs First Professional Contract with First Vienna FC 1894
Vincent Zeidler has signed his first professional contract with First Vienna FC 1894. The 16-year-old forward has committed to Austria’s oldest football club until 2028. After an impressive season with the Vienna Amateurs and making his debut appearances with the first team, the Vienna-born talent is now officially part of the senior squad.
Zeidler joined Vienna’s youth setup from LAC in 2021 and has successfully progressed through the ranks. Thanks to consistently strong performances with the Amateurs, he earned a call-up to the senior side. In 23 appearances, he played a key role in securing the runners-up finish in the Wiener Stadtliga. He made his professional debut in May during a home match against Kapfenberger SV, followed by a second appearance in the final game of the season against SV Ried.
With the signing of his contract, the next milestone in the young striker’s career has been reached.
Sporting Director Andreas Ivanschitz commented: "Vincent has shown in recent months that he not only has great talent but also the right mindset to make the leap to the first team. His performances with the Amateurs and his first appearances at professional level have fully convinced us. We're proud to have secured a promising homegrown player on a long-term deal. Vincent has everything it takes to keep developing at Vienna and to carve out a successful path in professional football."
