Bamba Susso joins First Vienna FC 1894
First Vienna FC 1894 is pleased to announce a new addition to the squad: striker Bamba Susso joins the club from Italian side Pisa SC and will immediately strengthen the attacking line of the Döbling-based team. The 22-year-old Gambian has signed a contract running until 2027.
With Susso, Vienna secures another promising talent for the upcoming season in the ADMIRAL 2nd League. The gifted forward arrives from Serie A club Pisa SC to Hohe Warte and brings with him valuable international experience despite his young age.
Born in Gambia, Susso moved to Italy at the age of 13. He began his football journey at Roman youth club SS Romulea, where he quickly made a name for himself with his natural goal-scoring instincts. In 2020, he was signed by the traditional Italian club Pisa SC.
Susso made his Serie B debut for Pisa in 2021. To gain valuable match experience, he was loaned out several times - including stints in Slovenia with ND Bilje and most recently NK Aluminij. During the 2023/24 season, he made 31 appearances in the Slovenian top division. In the most recent campaign, he impressed with 15 goals and two assists in just 22 appearances for Aluminij. His physical presence, dynamism, eye for goal, and versatility in attack make him a strong asset for Vienna’s offensive setup.
