Vienna invites to Fanshop Opening – Kick-off to the 131st Anniversary
On Thursday, August 21, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m., Vienna invites everyone to a cozy Fanshop Opening celebration at Hohe Warte. Just one day before the 131st birthday of Austria’s oldest football club and the home match against FC Liefering (tickets at www.1894.at/tickets), the traditional club wants to toast with its supporters, chat in a relaxed atmosphere, and give fans the chance to stock up on merchandise away from the hustle and bustle of matchday.
"We wanted to take the opportunity to welcome our fans in advance, showcase the newly redesigned Fanshop to those who haven’t seen it yet, and raise a glass together to our birthday," says Ines Schnell, the club’s Fanshop manager.
Fanshop in new splendor
Over the past months, a great deal of time and dedication has gone into the renovation and modernization of Döbling’s Fanshop. The first floor of the shop has been completely redesigned and is once again open as retail space. The online shop (www.1894.at/shop) has also successfully relaunched – with a steadily growing range of fan merchandise, recently expanded with new collections in collaboration with partners such as NKSP.
The opening evening comes with special promotions: 18.94% off all NIKE products (excluding jerseys) as well as a raffle with attractive prizes. All proceeds will go to the Empty Stands project.
Home Match Highlights in August
Those who miss the celebration will still have plenty of opportunities to visit on upcoming home match days. Already on Friday, August 22, the anniversary match against Liefering takes place. On August 29, a football double feature awaits: at 6:00 p.m. the men host Austria Lustenau, followed by the women’s match against Sturm Graz at 8:30 p.m.
