The next away trip in the Admiral 2nd League takes Vienna to Wels. On Friday, November 7 at 18:00, Vienna will face league newcomer Hertha Wels.

After earning promotion from the Regionalliga Mitte to the second league, Wels have already managed to collect a few points. In total, Hertha Wels currently sit on eight points, which is only enough for 14th place at the moment. Most recently, they recorded a 1:1 draw against bottom-of-the-table Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. In the weeks before, they suffered a defeat against Stripfing but also secured a win against Rapid II.

Vienna, on the other hand, was once again unable to clinch a home victory in the last round. The match against SKU Amstetten was a real emotional rollercoaster. After a strong start from the visitors that resulted in a lead, Vienna managed to turn the game around thanks to a Seo brace. However, Amstetten scored twice from set pieces to win the match 3:2.

Vienna relying on strong away performances

In recent weeks, Vienna has particularly impressed on the road. The Döbling side claimed convincing victories against both Kapfenberg and Sturm Graz II.
