First Vienna FC 1894 launches exclusive shops at Vienna Airport
Ten days in the Maldives, a weekend in London, or a holiday trip to Greece – Vienna Airport is the starting point for countless travel highlights. Now, Vienna fans can experience pure joy before their journey even begins. The exclusive airport shops of Austria’s oldest football club invite travellers to enjoy a blue-and-yellow shopping tour.
With this initiative, First Vienna FC 1894 is not only Austria’s oldest football club, but also a pioneer in airport shopping.
Vienna joins an elite circle
It’s not often that football clubs have a presence at international airports. In Munich, for instance, Germany’s record champion operates a shop, while only a handful of Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga clubs are represented in their home airports.
Now, for a limited time at two and soon at three locations, Vienna fans can discover a wide range of official merchandise at Austria’s largest airport. This makes First Vienna FC 1894 the first and only domestic football club to make such a mark through airport retail.
Blue and yellow on your next vacation

In addition to jerseys, scarves, and caps, a special focus will also be placed on travel-related items.
“We want to offer the ideal combination of Vienna fan products and everyday travel essentials. Alongside the classics, blue-and-yellow neck pillows, sleep masks, and other travel ‘problem-solvers’ will soon be available,” adds Adam Nada, co-owner of Boutique Vienna, outlining the vision for product development.
A strong partnership
This project is made possible through Vienna’s new partner, Boutique Vienna. The company, known for its expertise in the beauty and cosmetics sector, is creating exclusive shop-in-shop concepts for the club at three airport gates. The prominent positioning of Vienna products ensures maximum visibility in the blue and yellow club colors.

For Vienna President Kurt Svoboda, the new shops at Vienna Airport mark not only a milestone in merchandising but also a significant step in internationalization. With nearly 32 million passengers from all over the world last year, the value of this location speaks for itself.
“In terms of visibility, it hardly gets any better. For First Vienna FC 1894, being present in such high-traffic areas is a tremendous opportunity to attract attention and raise awareness,” says Svoboda, expressing his confidence in the joint initiative.
