Patrick Schmidt moves to Malta
First Vienna FC 1894 and Patrick Schmidt have mutually agreed to an early termination of his current contract. The striker is moving to Malta to join Tarxien Rainbows FC.
Schmidt joined Vienna in the summer of 2024 from Admira and made more than 30 competitive appearances for the Döbling side, scoring six goals. In the current season, Schmidt collected several minutes mainly as a substitute, during which he found the net twice.
After almost one and a half years, Schmidt now leaves Vienna and joins Maltese top-flight side Tarxien Rainbows FC.
