Home Match Against Hellas Kagran
After a successful start to the spring season, the First Vienna FC 1894 Amateurs will play their first home match of the year. This coming Sunday, the team will host FC Hellas Kagran. Kick-off is at 3:00 PM.
The Vienna Amateurs began the second half of the season with a win. In the last round, the Blue-Yellows faced SK Slovan HAC. For a long time it seemed as though the match would end in a draw. Shortly before the final whistle, however, Nicholas Nösslinger put Vienna ahead with a spectacular goal. In the 94th minute, Taha Uysal added another goal to seal a 3–1 victory for the Vienna Amateurs.
The win against Slovan HAC provides confidence for the upcoming rounds. The Vienna Amateurs managed to keep pace with the teams at the top of the table and currently sit in fourth place. The gap to fifth-placed LAC-Inter is already five points.
Their opponents, Hellas Kagran, lost 3–0 to Red Star Penzing on the last matchday. In the standings, Hellas Kagran currently sit in 14th place with ten points. The first meeting earlier this season ended in a 2–0 victory for the Vienna Amateurs.
