Vienna Amateurs Face FC Stadlau
In Round 20 of the Vienna City League, the Vienna Amateurs take on FC Stadlau. Following an impressive victory in the previous round, the blue-and-yellow side will be looking to build on their momentum. The match will take place this coming Saturday at 4:00 PM at the Stadlau sports ground.
Last weekend, FC Stadlau faced Red Star Penzing. For a long time, it looked as though Stadlau would claim the win, but Red Star Penzing managed to equalize in stoppage time. The match ended 1–1.
The Vienna Amateurs delivered a convincing performance in the last round. Against fellow table rivals 1980 Wien, the blue-and-yellows secured a 5–0 victory. Jerabek and Ellen both scored twice, while Milic also found the net.
In the standings, the Vienna Amateurs have overtaken 1980 Wien and now sit in third place. In the first half of the season, the team coached by Gökce Tuna won the fixture 2–0 thanks to a brace from Staudinger.
