Of Square Meters and Opportunities – Networking at the Highest Level
On April 15, 2026, First Vienna FC 1894 hosted the 28th edition of its popular 1894 Business Club evening—and it proved to be more than impressive. The event took place in the striking showroom of 3SI Immogroup, located in a prime spot on Kärntner Straße, offering the perfect setting for an evening dedicated to exchange, partnership, and sporting perspective.
For the first time, the patronage of the evening was shared among three strong partners: alongside 3SI Immogroup, ImmoScout24 and Leadersnet also shaped this special networking event in the heart of Vienna. A total of 134 entrepreneurs accepted the invitation and took the opportunity to connect with numerous Vienna partners.

The official opening was led by club president Kurt Svoboda, who emphasized the importance of a strong network surrounding the traditional club. This was followed by welcoming remarks from host Michael Schmidt (owner of 3SI Immogroup), who highlighted the pleasure of the close and long-standing partnership with Vienna. Markus Dejmek (Managing Director of ImmoScout24 Austria) also addressed the audience, stressing—like Schmidt—the importance of unity and commitment in both sports and business contexts. The strong sense of togetherness was clearly underlined: success is best achieved together.
The focus then shifted to extensive networking, accompanied by excellent catering that rounded off the evening in a pleasant atmosphere. After further impulses from Fritz Csörgits (Managing Director of Leadersnet), the event transitioned into its sporting highlight.
A special premiere took place: for the first time, Vienna’s new sporting director, Didi Elsneg, introduced himself to the club’s partners. Together with players Bernhard Zimmermann and Marco Gantschnig, he provided exciting insights into the club’s sporting direction and current developments. The talk was, as usual, expertly moderated by stadium announcer Erwin Gruber.

Additional energy was provided by the popular and engaging networking game, which ran throughout the evening and actively encouraged guests to connect with one another. A sweet highlight was delivered by Vienna’s new ice cream partner, Nice Guy Gelato, which ensured cool moments of enjoyment and treated guests to plenty of ice cream.
