Vienna Sign Elina Schitter
The first signing of the season for the First Vienna FC women’s team has been confirmed: promising young talent Elina Schitter is set to join the club at Hohe Warte. The defender most recently played for the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) Women’s Academy.
First Vienna FC 1894 is delighted to announce Elina Schitter as its first new addition ahead of the upcoming season. The 17-year-old will strengthen the Blue-and-Yellow defense from next season onward.
Schitter is a product of the ÖFB Women’s Academy, where she received excellent footballing education and development. Thanks to her strong performances, she established herself as a regular starter for Austria’s U17 national team and earned recognition as one of the country’s most promising young defenders. Her move to Vienna represents the next logical step in her transition to senior football following her impressive development over recent years.
