Moritz Jerabek Signs First Professional Contract with Vienna
The First Vienna FC continues to invest in young talent: striker Moritz Jerabek has signed his first professional contract with the club and will become a permanent member of the senior squad. At the same time, the 19-year-old has been permanently transferred from SK Rapid Wien following his previous loan spell.
The Vienna-born forward earned his opportunity through a series of impressive performances and has already made five appearances in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga this season. Jerabek made his first-team debut in April against Kapfenberger SV and marked the occasion by scoring his first goal in professional football. He subsequently featured against FC Admira Wacker Mödling, FC Hertha Wels, SK Rapid Wien II, and Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz.
The young striker also impressed in the Vienna City League, contributing five goals in thirteen appearances.
Standing at 1.85 metres, Jerabek began his football journey with Austria XIII before joining the youth academy of SK Rapid Wien. He progressed through all academy levels at the Hütteldorf-based club. In the summer of 2025, he moved to Vienna, initially joining the U18 team. By spring 2026, he had earned promotion to the Vienna Amateurs squad and shortly afterwards to the first team.
Moritz Jerabek expressed his excitement about the next step in his career: “Signing my first professional contract makes me very proud. Vienna gave me the opportunity to prove myself at this level and continue developing as a player, and I am very grateful for that. My full focus is now on the upcoming season.
