Season Final Against Red Star Penzing
A long and demanding season in the Wiener Stadtliga is coming to an end. On Friday, the Vienna Amateurs will host Red Star Penzing at the Vienna Campus in their final match of the campaign. Kick-off is at 18:00.
After a difficult spell and three consecutive league defeats, our team will be aiming to finish the season on a positive note. The reverse fixture ended in a 1–1 draw, and the Blue and Yellow will be eager to head into the summer break with a victory in front of their home crowd.
Red Star Penzing arrive in excellent form, having won each of their last four league matches. In the previous round, the Penzing side secured a dramatic last-minute 4–3 victory over Austria XIII.
Thanks to their winning streak in recent weeks, Red Star Penzing have climbed to fourth place in the standings. With one round remaining, the Vienna Amateurs sit sixth on 42 points.
