The 9th Special Olympics Summer Games will take place in Vienna from 25 to 29 June 2026. The Games will officially open on Thursday, 25 June, with a ceremonial opening event at the Sport Arena Wien. Over the following four days, exciting competitions and medal ceremonies will be held at twelve sports venues across the Austrian capital. The Games will conclude with the Closing Ceremony on 29 June, starting at 6:00 p.m., also at the Sport Arena Wien.

The Vienna Special Needs Team will be represented by two teams in the 5-a-side football competition. All matches involving our teams will be played at the ÖFB Campus in Seestadt. Classification matches will take place on Friday and Saturday, followed by the official competition matches on Sunday and Monday.
