Vienna Sign Forward Youssouf Soukouna from France
First Vienna FC have strengthened their squad for the upcoming season by signing another attacking player. The 26-year-old Youssouf Soukouna joins the club from French third-division side Concarneau.
With the arrival of Youssouf Soukouna, Vienna welcome another exciting new addition to the squad. The French forward most recently played for Concarneau in France's Championnat National, where he scored seven goals during the 2025/26 season.
Soukouna began his football career at FC Chambly before moving to Quevilly-Rouen Métropole (QRM) in 2018. After one season there, he joined Évreux FC 27, scoring three goals in 16 league appearances. He then signed for AS Beauvais, where he recorded three goals and four assists in 34 competitive matches.
Following a season with Blois Football 41, during which the versatile attacker once again impressed with his performances, Soukouna moved to Les Herbiers in 2023. He immediately established himself as a regular starter and scored four goals for the club.
In 2024, he joined French third-tier side Concarneau, where he spent the past two seasons. During his time there, he once again demonstrated his quality, contributing ten goals and four assists.
Vienna marks the first club outside France in Soukouna's career. Thanks to his physical presence, pace and versatility in attack, he is expected to add greater flexibility and goalscoring threat to Vienna's offensive play.
