Patrick Enengl's side can look back on an intensive and highly successful pre-season. Following the start of training, a training camp, and four pre-season victories, Vienna now faces its toughest challenge yet.
The team boosted its confidence even further on Tuesday with an impressive victory over Austrian Bundesliga side GAK, setting the stage for this demanding test against the English Championship club.

A Reunion After 93 Years
The match against Queens Park Rangers is much more than just another friendly. It is a fixture steeped in history, bringing together two traditional clubs that first met 93 years ago.
On 30 January 1933, during Vienna's legendary tour of England, the club visited Queens Park Rangers in London and caused a major upset with a remarkable 3-0 victory. Now, the two clubs meet again—this time at the Hohe Warte—as the London club, founded in 1882, travels to Vienna. It is a meeting of two clubs whose histories are deeply intertwined with the origins of football.
For head coach Patrick Enengl, the fixture also marks his first home match in charge of Vienna and serves as an important benchmark ahead of the new season: "I'm really looking forward to this match. I've experienced the special atmosphere at the Hohe Warte before as an opposing coach, and standing on the touchline here for the first time as Vienna's head coach is something very special.
