Denny Krcmarek Appointed Head Coach of First Vienna FC Women
First Vienna FC 1894 will head into the new ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga season with a new head coach. Denny Krcmarek has been appointed as the new Head Coach of First Vienna FC Women, succeeding Mark Dobrounig, whose four-year tenure in charge of the team has come to an end.
A Coach from Within the Club
Krcmarek has been part of First Vienna FC since 2024 and knows the club inside out. The UEFA A Licence coach initially took charge of the club's Under-18 team before joining the Vienna Amateurs as assistant coach. In spring 2026, he stepped up as interim head coach of the Amateurs.
Before arriving in Döbling, Krcmarek held coaching roles at LASK, with the Austria Under-21 National Team, and at SV Sandhausen. With his extensive experience in player development and his strong understanding of the club's philosophy, he is expected to build on the successful progress of the women's team while bringing fresh ideas and new momentum.
Alongside his coaching career, Krcmarek holds a university degree in Physical Education as well as Psychology and Philosophy. He also lectures at various educational institutions and private universities.

The squad has developed tremendously over the past few years, and I'm looking forward to continuing that journey with the players. My goal is to build on this successful path and help the team improve every single day."
