First Vienna FC Women Sign Croatian International Karla Kurkutovic
First Vienna FC Women have strengthened their squad with the signing of Croatian international Karla Kurkutovic. The 24-year-old joins the club from Polish top-flight side Górnik Łęczna, bringing international experience and added quality to Vienna's attacking options.
Kurkutovic moved to Poland in the summer of 2025, joining Górnik Łęczna after previous spells with Honvéd Budapest, ŽNK Split, and Dinamo Zagreb. She is also an established member of the Croatian senior national team, having represented her country at every youth level from Under-15 through to Under-19.
A versatile attacking player, Kurkutovic is comfortable on either wing as well as in a central attacking role. She is known for her pace, dynamism, and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.
Mario Graf, Sporting Director of First Vienna FC Women
"Despite her young age, Karla already brings valuable international experience and has competed at a high level. She adds pace, dynamism, and real quality in attack. Above all, her mentality and determination to keep improving perfectly match the direction we're taking as a club. We're delighted that she has chosen to join First Vienna FC."
