Antea Batarilo Joins First Vienna FC 1894 from Austria Vienna
First Vienna FC 1894 is delighted to announce the signing of Antea Batarilo, who becomes the latest addition to the Vienna women's squad ahead of the new season. The talented Croatian midfielder joins from Austria Vienna, where she has already gained valuable experience in the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga.
With the arrival of Batarilo, Vienna secures another promising addition to its squad for the upcoming campaign. The 20-year-old began her football journey in the youth ranks of SV Spillern before moving to Austria Vienna in 2020, where she became a regular across the club's youth teams.
Just one season later, Batarilo established herself as a key player for Austria Vienna's Future League side, scoring nine goals in 16 appearances and demonstrating her eye for goal. During the same campaign, she also made her debut for the club's first team in the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga.
Over the following seasons, Batarilo became an increasingly important member of the first-team squad and has now made more than 30 appearances in Austria's top flight. In 2023, the now 20-year-old earned her first call-up to the Croatian senior national team.
