Vienna Sign Helena Milanovic from FC Salzburg
Ahead of Sunday’s season opener against Rapid, the Vienna women’s team can announce another new signing. 20-year-old Helena Milanovic is the latest promising player to make the move to Hohe Warte.
Helena Milanovic is the latest addition to the Vienna squad. The midfielder was part of the ÖFB Women’s Academy and spent the past two seasons in Salzburg, initially with FC Bergheim and later with FC Salzburg. After an injury, Milanovic returned to competitive action in the Future League last season, regaining valuable match practice and helping secure the league title at the end of the campaign.
Vienna Women’s Sporting Director Mario Graf is delighted with the latest addition: “With Helena, we are bringing in a very dynamic player who also has excellent technical ability. Her desire to get forward and get into scoring positions can create dangerous moments time and again, which will add another dimension to our attacking play.
