Home Match Against LASK
The Vienna women's team will face LASK in Round 8 of the ADMIRAL Frauen Bundesliga. The match will take place next Saturday at 4:00 pm at Naturarena Hohe Warte. Afterwards, the Vienna Amateurs will also play at Hohe Warte, taking on Union Mauer at 6:30 pm.
LASK secured a point last weekend with a 0-0 draw against Salzburg. Their only win of the season so far came on the opening matchday against city rivals Blau-Weiß Linz/Union Kleinmünchen. After seven rounds, LASK sit eighth in the table with five points.
Vienna Looking to Return to Winning Ways
Vienna have failed to pick up any points from their last two matches. The Blue and Yellows suffered a 4-0 defeat against SCR Altach, allowing the Vorarlberg side to overtake Vienna in the table. Vienna currently sit in fifth place.
“Against Altach, we fell short of our own expectations for large parts of the game. We analysed and worked through that in training over the past few days. Against LASK, we want to show ourselves at our best and secure three points. Once again, it will be crucial that we perform as a united team and stick together as a group throughout the match,” said head coach Denny Krcmarek.
