First Vienna Football Camp

Every year, the First Vienna Football Camp powered by ImmoUnited attracts football-loving girls and boys aged 6 to 14 to the Hohe Warte. Under the guidance of our qualified youth coaches, they will once again have the chance to enjoy a unique football experience in our Hohe Warte nature arena in Vienna-Döbling in 2025.

The youth development work of Austria's oldest football club is known far beyond the capital's borders. First Vienna also wants to bring its philosophy and principles in dealing with children and young people to the football camps and encourage and inspire the participating kids in an age-appropriate way. In addition to developing motor skills, the two daily training sessions will focus on teaching sporting values and the shared joy of the game.

My child wishes to play at the camp with a friend. Will this be taken into account?

Who are the coaches that will be at the camp?

The coaching team consists of experienced and qualified children's and youth coaches from the First Vienna FC 1894 youth coaching staff, who use their experience and expertise in dealing with children and young people to ensure that your child has an instructive and entertaining week at Vienna.

How does the schedule of a camp-week look like?

The camp week starts on Monday at 8.30 am with the distribution of the equipment packs. After changing and being welcomed, the training sessions start at 10.00 a.m. with regular breaks for drinking and regeneration. At around 12.00 noon we will move on to the lunch break, during which a hot lunch will be served. After lunch, we will take a short break before returning to the pitch at 1.30pm, fit and ready to go. The afternoon session runs until around 3.30 pm. Pick-up takes place afterwards until 16:00.

From Tuesday to Friday, the training sessions start at 09:00. Early childcare for children of working parents is offered from 8.00 a.m. from Tuesday to Friday for a minimum of 5 children per camp week. If you would like to make use of early childcare, please tick the appropriate box on the online registration form. We will inform you in good time before the start of the camp whether the minimum number required for early supervision has been reached.

Each camp week, weather permitting, the Döblinger Bad (summer camp) will be visited on Wednesday afternoons. Please bring appropriate swimwear for this. Entry to the pool is already included in the camp fee.

At each camp there will be the opportunity for a meet & greet with Vienna stars (legends, active players, sports management, etc.). The days may vary.

Can I bring my child to the stadium before practice has started?

From Tuesday to Friday, the training sessions start at 09:00. Early supervision for children of working parents is offered from Tuesday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. for a minimum of 5 children per camp week. If you would like to make use of early childcare, please tick the appropriate box on the online registration form. We will inform you in good time before the start of the camp whether the minimum number required for the early care programme has been reached.

What should I put in my child’s backpack for the camp-week?

The children are provided with a full set of kit for the football camp. This includes jersey, shorts, socks, ball and water bottle. In addition, appropriate football boots for artificial turf and shin guards are required. If the weather is bad, make sure you have warm clothing and a rain jacket. Swimwear and a towel should be brought for the trip to the Döblinger Bad on Wednesday afternoon (weather permitting). Sun cream and important medication as required.

What happens should meteorological conditions worsen?

The training sessions mainly take place on artificial turf and can therefore continue without any problems if it rains (don't forget your rain jacket!). In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms or the risk of thunderstorms, training sessions will be interrupted for the duration of the storm.

My child is sick or injured. What can I do?

In the event of cancellation due to illness or injury, all payments already made will be refunded in full up to 14 days before the start of the camp. In any case, the cancellation must be sent in writing by e-mail to camp@1894.at.

If the participant cancels 14 or fewer days before the start of the camp or does not attend the camp, the following applies: The participant must pay a lump sum compensation amounting to 80% of the participation fee (i.e. in the case of an advance payment already made in full, 20% of this will be refunded). The participant has the right to prove that the organiser has not suffered any loss at all or only a lesser loss.
