First Vienna Football Camp

The First Vienna Football Camp powered by IMMOUnited consistently attracts football passionate girls and boys between 6 and 14 years old to our Hohe Warte stadium. Under the tutelage of our qualified youth-coaches, we offer the chance to experience exciting footballing experiences in the unique setting of the Naturarena Hohe Warte in Vienna’s 19th district. Click Here for the online-registration form.

Youth-development at Austria’s oldest football club holds a special position that is famous beyond Vienna’s borders. Our philosophy and principles in the sporting education of teenagers and children drive our ability to nurture and inspire kids at our football-camps. During the two daily training sessions, we focus primarily on conveying sporting values and fostering the joy to play, while also developing the technical abilities of every attendee.

Who can attend a camp?

All boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14 are welcome to our camps. It does not matter if the child just started playing, or if he/she already plays for another club. Each participant will be allocated to different groups according to age and skill level.

When do I receive a confirmation of my child’s camp spot?

Immediately after you have submitted the online registration form, you will receive a confirmation of the submission via email with the indicated data. Please note that the camp participation of your child is only guaranteed upon successful payment of the participation fee via our online ticket shop. As soon as the online registration form is submitted and the participation fee is paid, your child’s spot at the camp is reserved but there will not be any separate confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel your child’s spot at our camps should the payment procedure not be completed 10 days after submission of the registration form.

Can I register my child for 2 camps or more?

Participating in multiple camps is possible. Please choose the desired camp-dates by clicking on the respective checkboxes in the online registration form. Upon payment in the ticket shop, simply choose the respective ticket-category for each camp date and place it in the shopping cart.

What services are included in the price?

The complete organisation and implementation of the camp is included in the participation fee. Furthermore, a starter package from our official equipment supplier uhlsport (kit, short, socks, ball and drinking bottle) as well as warm lunch at the FAIRPLAY Hohe Warte restaurant, drinks and snacks during practice-breaks are included. Finally, entrance fees for diverse activities (swimming pool), a participation certificate, photographs and videos of camp highlights are also part of the package.

My child wishes to play at the camp with a friend. Will this be taken into account?

We cannot cater to group-wishes due to organisational reasons, as all practice-groups are constructed according to age and skill level. However, there is always the possibility to discuss group changes with our coaches on-site.

Who are the coaches that will be at the camp?

The coaching staff is comprised of qualified and experienced youth-coaches from our youth-teams at First Vienna FC 1894. Through their know-how in coaching kids and teenager, they will make sure that your child benefits from an educational and fun week at our club.

How does the schedule of a camp-week look like?

A camp-week always starts on a Monday at 9am with the distribution of the players’ equipment kits. After the children got changed and acquainted to their coaches, the first practice starts at 10am with regular drinking and regeneration breaks. The lunchbreak with a warm meal starts around noon. Practice starts again at 1:30pm after a short digestive break. The afternoon training-session lasts until around 3:30pm, and you may come pick up your child until 4pm.

From Tuesday until Friday, training sessions always start at 9am. Should there be at least 5 children per camp week that need to be at the stadium earlier due to working parents, we offer early care starting at 8am. Should you want to take advantage of this service, please indicate this wish on our online registration form. We will inform you in a timely manner if the minimum number of children needing the early care has been reached.

During every camp-week, and should the meteorological conditions allow it, the different groups will go together to the Döblinger Bad public swimming pools on Wednesday afternoon. Please equip your children with the necessary swimming gear. The entry fee to the pools is included in the participation fee.

Every camp will offer the possibility to meet some of our Vienna Stars (Legends, active players, Sporting Management etc.). The days for this event may vary from week to week.

Can I bring my child to the stadium before practice has started?

From Tuesday until Friday, training sessions always start at 9am. Should there be at least 5 children per camp week that need to be at the stadium earlier due to working parents, we offer early care starting at 8am. Should you want to take advantage of this service, please indicate this wish on our online registration form. We will inform you in a timely manner if the minimum number of children needing the early care has been reached.

What should I put in my child’s backpack for the camp-week?

All children will be equipped with uhlsport gear for the entire camp. The package contains a kit, shorts, socks, ball and a drinking bottle. Apart from that, your child will need appropriate football boots for astroturf and shinpads. Should the weather situation worsen, please equip your child with warmer clothes and a rain jacket. Swimming gear and towel will be needed for the excursion to Döblinger Bad on Wednesday afternoon, sunscreen and medicaments too if needed.

What happens should meteorological conditions worsen?

As the training sessions are organised on astroturf, rain does not constitute a problem and practice can continue without delay (please do not forget the rain jacket!). If there are storm-warnings or very strong rainfall, practice will be delayed until the conditions get better.

My child is sick or injured. What can I do?

Should you cancel your child’s participation due to sickness or injury up to 14 days prior to the start of the camp, you will receive a full refund of all made payments. A written cancellation request has to be sent by email to camp@1894.at or via mail (First Vienna FC 1894 Klabundgasse 11, 1190 Wien).

Should your cancellation request be made less than 14 days prior to the start of the camp, or should the participant not show up to camp, following rules apply: The participant has to pay 80% of the participation fee as compensation (thus, you will be refunded 20% of the participation fee should you have paid the participation fee in full). The participants receive confirmation that damages have not been registered at the organiser, or have been registered in a low amount.

Who can I contact should I have further questions?

Should you have further questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact our camp-management at camp@1894.at
